I agree. It would be nice to know, although I am not certain what you can do about it. If you have people come and visit your store and your bounce rate is reasonable, you know you have some good stuff. If you have sales (regular or sporadic) that would be another indicator that you sell great merchandise... don't get me wrong. I would LOVE to know why someone did not place the order. I am just not certain that we will be able to get the info we want.

Yeah i would just like to know at what point they decided to leave. Was it the checkout process was too confusing? When the added it to the cart? Something like that so I could try to make it easier to use or at least try to but i know its prolly not going to happen, but one can always hope.

That would be great info to have! But like you said, it might not be easy to get it, unless you have a mini survey attached that specifically asks for this info...
Hmmm, on the down side it might put people off completely..... I am just thinking out loud.

Just knowing what people pu in their cart would be a big help to me..If there is a pattern to what people are putting into their cart AND buying, that is powerful information in itself. You used to be able to harness this information when we had access to the log files..but now we don't, and not many people seem to care, which is shocking to me because I'm not sure what you are doing on the ProStores platform if you are not trying to sell something.....STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM SOMEONE AT PROSTORES !!!!

I use this site http://www.sitemeter.com to track every step a vistor makes on our site. It cost $5.95 a month, it also tells the keyword(s) they used and search engine to get them to the site.

Yes, it's well worth the $6.00 per month (not the free version), you should give it a try for one month. It lets you know the keywords used, search engines. The report lists the visitors that have viewed a page on the site in the last 15minutes. The host name, location, number of pages viewed, time of the last page view, and the URL of that page are listed. The report is sorted in the order of when the visitor came to the site (and not by the time of the last page viewed). Rich
