Thumbs down I hate timeouts!

I agree! ProStores needs to fix this nagging problem. I have lost page after page of work in Product creation only to have to do it all over again. This alone has made me think more than once of going to another store site. At the very least, the current page buffer could be auto saved before kicking you off line unanounced.

This isn't the only way work gets lost. I have had errors pop up when creating shipping rules and it tells you to go back and fix. Well, when you do, everything you did on that page is gone too! NOT GOOD PRACTICE, ProStores!

Default Time-Outs

There is a 15 minute time-out due to PCI compliance. Being compliant is important. Clicking on save every few lines or couple of minutes is your best bet. Yes, it is annoying, but less so than the non-compliance state, which would put all your secure data at risk.

Our other cart is also PCI compliant and does not have a 15 min time out. It will time out but its at least a half hour and I think much longer.
I've only timed out twice. Both times just left without closing admin. Once was overnite the other went shopping over an hour.

I don't necessarily mind it but a pop up warning is a definite should have. Our bank site and CC site both have this.
