Sales Tax Calculator

Hi,

In Prostores 'Store Settings'->'Sales Tax Preferences'->'Options', there are three choices for 'Calculator': ProStores, Avatax and CyberSource. The default is 'ProStores'. Has anybody used 'Avatax' and 'CyberSouce'?

It looks like 'ProStores' calculator doesn't do any automatic sales tax calculation. It really depends on how you manually set up the 'Sales Tax Regions'.

My store is in Orange County, California, which has 8.75% sales tax. I called the California State Board and I was told that for orders with Billing Address within California, the sales tax rate should be different based on which county or even which city the Billing Address is in. If I open the publication 71, there is a huge list of tax rate based on different California counties and even cities within the same county.

This is really a headache for me. I wish I could just set the flat Orange County Tax 8.75% for all the orders with Billing Address in California, otherwise I don't even know how to import that huge list of tax rates into Prostore.

Any suggestions?
