Google Base Data Feed Errors

I'm getting some errors in some of my products in my data feed to google. Under "Item Errors" in Google Merchant Center, It says "Prohibited word in attribute: description" It also shows a list with "Item Nr" and "Line Nr" and a list of about 6 different items and lines. I would gladly change whatever error there is, but I can't seem to correspond any of the "Item Numbers" to any of my products on ProStores. How do I find out exactly which products aren't being listed so I can make the needed changes?

The easiest way to track errors is to download your products as a csv file. Use the Find function. Since it's text you're looking for, review the titles, long & short descriptions. My guess is that you're using the word "sale" in your title(s) or description(s). Google no longer allows that.

Is there a list of words that google doesn't allow anywhere?

I'm not sure if there is a list, but you could probably find it here if there is one.

I had the same thing happen. While some advised that it might be offensive text (I used P.I.T.A. in one of my listings) it was not. I finally got an email string going with Google and found that I had the word SALE in one of my listings and CLOSEOUT in another. Anything that is highly promotional, like sale, closeout, free shipping, etc in the title will trigger.
